This is an astounding piece with a brilliant attention to detail. The narrow depth of field gives the impression that this robot mantis is tiny as it looks just like macro photography. I love the sleek plating and tiny etchings of serial numbers and the company who I assume would be the creator of this fantastic little creature. The colour scheme is muted but has that alien feel - similar to the Tron-like worlds or alien cybernetics.

I'd like to see more of a story behind the creature though. What is its purpose? How does it function? Why is it smoking excessively?

All in all, this is a fantastic concept which could really be developed into something incredible. Good work!
